Mokoadi Mogano

Senior Manager: Professional Affairs (CPD and Registrations)

The Senior Manager: Professional Affairs (CPD and Registrations) directs and manages the CPD and Registrations division in the Professional Affairs Department. Key Performance Areas include: 

  • Responsible for ensuring the total quality management of all activities relating to the planning, organising, co-ordinating and providing guidance in establishing, developing and maintaining universally acceptable standards in registration of persons required to be registered in terms of the Pharmacy Act.
  • Responsible for the timeous execution of the registration of persons and organisations, the maintenance of registers, as well as all correspondence, enquiries, and the capturing of data relating to the abovementioned entities.
  • Responsible for the effective management of CPD and Health Committee/ task teams of the SAPC.

Kamohelo Malaku

Senior Manager: Professional Affairs (Pre-Registration and Examinations)

The Senior Manager: Professional Affairs (Pre-Registrations and Examinations) directs and manages the Pre-Registration and Examinations division in the Professional Affairs Department. Key Performance Areas include: 

  • Responsible for ensuring the total quality management of all activities relating to the planning, organising, co-ordinating and providing guidance in establishing, developing and maintaining universally acceptable standards in registration of persons required to be registered in terms of the Pharmacy Act.
  • Responsible for the timeous execution of the registration of persons and organisations, the maintenance of registers, as well as all correspondence, enquiries, and the capturing of data relating to the abovementioned entities.
  • Responsible for the effective management of Pre-Registration Committee/ task teams of the SAPC.

Hlonelikaya Masiza

Senior Manager: Professional Affairs (Education)

The Senior Manager: Professional Affairs (Education) directs and manages the Pharmacy Education division in the Professional Affairs Department. Key Performance Areas include: 

  • Responsible for ensuring the total quality management of all activities relating to the planning, organising, co-ordinating and providing guidance in establishing, developing and maintaining universally acceptable standards in pharmacy education as well as consultation and communication with the profession and other stakeholders with regard to pharmaceutical education and training.
  • Responsible for the coordination and execution of approved pharmacy education and training projects, with the ultimate goal of improving and developing standards of pharmacy education and training in South Africa, as well as communicating those standards.
  • Responsible for the management of all actions aimed at the evaluation and approval of applications for registration of natural persons, as well as supplementary training, additional qualifications, specialists, providers, courses and assessors,
  • Responsible for the activities of the Education Committee and other committees/task teams relating to pharmacy education

Ziyanda Mfuku

Senior Manager: Professional Affairs (Practice)

The Senior Manager: Professional Affairs (Practice) directs and manages the Pharmacy Practice division in the Professional Affairs Department. Key Performance Areas include: 

  • Responsible for ensuring the total quality management of all activities relating to the planning, organising, coordinating and providing guidance in establishing, developing and maintaining universally acceptable standards in pharmacy practice.
  • Responsible for the development, maintenance and control of universally acceptable standards of the practice of the various categories of persons required to be registered in terms of the Act, as well as the promotion of the provision of pharmaceutical care development.
  • Responsible for the effective management of practice related committees/ task teams of the SAPC.
  • Responsible for the consultation of and communication with the profession and other stakeholders with regard to good pharmacy practice and inspections in order to uphold universally acceptable standards of pharmacy practice in both the private and public sector.

 


Nhlamulo Isaac Nkanyane

Senior Manager: Professional Conduct

The Senior Manager: Professional Conduct directs and manages the Professional Conduct Department. Key Performance Areas include: 

  • Responsible for investigating any and all complaints of unprofessional conduct.
  • Responsible for the effective management of the Committee of Preliminary Investigation and Disciplinary Committees (formal and informal), and the Registrar’s Complaints Review Panel.

Clement Manenzhe

Senior Manager: Information Technology

The Senior Manager: Information Technology directs and manages the Information Technology Department. Key performance areas include: 

  • Align IT objectives and programmes to the SAPC objectives and strategies.
  • Align IT risk management with the SAPC risk management strategies.
  • Optimise cost of services through a mix of internal and external resources.
  • Evaluate overall operations of computing and information technology functions and recommend enhancements

Elmari Venter

Senior Manager: Communication & Stakeholders Relations

The Senior Manager: Communication & Stakeholders Relations directs and manages the Communications & Stakeholders Relations Department. Key Performance Areas include: 

  • Responsible for the total quality management in all activities relating to the planning, organising, coordinating and providing guidance in establishing, developing and maintaining universally acceptable standards in Customer Services and Public Relations.
  • Develop, implement, review and control policies, processes and standard operating procedures for Customer Care Contact Centre.
  • Responsible for the efficient management of general communication.
  • Responsible for the efficient management of publication functions including the management of the website.
  • Responsible for the activities of the Pharmacy Pioneer Awards, committee and other task groups relating to awards, minutes as well as the timely execution of decisions following ratification by Council.
